Here at Jabbakam Towers we’re in the business of practicing what we preach. And, having recently warned our readers of the dangers of rural theft, our governor decided it would be a jolly good idea if he followed his company’s own advice. Hence, he installed a Jabbakam camera in his own barn. One amusing side-effect of this installation is that he has now turned him into something of an amateur naturalist. Introducing the All New Jabbakam Camera and Starter Kit

If you are a Jabbakam User, you have more than likely by now received the email sent out to all Jabbakam Users letting you know about the changes that we are making to Jabbakam’s pricing structure and how that is going to affect your account.  We anticipate a positive response and are looking forward to hearing your feedback on the new site and the new system, which will be up and running soon. That being said, we have saved the best bit of news about what’s happening at Jabbakam for last. There is one important change at Jabbakam that we haven’t yet let on about here on the blog or anywhere else for that matter… and we figured that now is the right time to let to let the cat out of the bag — or in this case — let the camera out of the box.

Introducing the new Jabbakam Brand Camera… and Starter Kit.

This little Jabbakam Cam and Kit has everything you need in an IP camera and nothing you don’t. With easy-to-use features and design, it is lightweight, inexpensive and integrates seamlessly into the Jabbakam Interface — making Jabbakam the total package in online video surveillance.

Jabbakam is overhauling it’s pricing structure and adding the Jabbakam camera in an overall larger effort to streamline our system and make things easier for our users. From early June, when you sign up for the Jabbakam Service, you will have the option to buy the Jabbakam Camera along with a choice of three different monthly subscription-based service bundles.

With the purchase of a Jabbakam Camera you get to choose from three service bundles:

• 14-day recording storage* – £5.95 per month
• 45-day recording storage* – £9.95 per month
• 90-day recording storage* – £13.95 per month

*Recording storage – by this we mean time that video events will be kept in your inbox prior to auto-deletion. Any clips or snapshots that you want to save beyond this default period, simply save to a folder or download to your desktop.

Jabbakam will still be fully compatible with your Axis and Y-Cam IP cameras. The monthly subscription costs for Axis and Y-Cam customers will be £7.95, £11.95 and £15.95, respectively.

Fly, Little Jabbakam. Fly!

Over the last week, we have been telling you about how things are changing at Jabbakam. There are many details left to fill you in on, including a big announcement at the end of this week. The goal of all this is quite simple: Give Jabbakam users the freedom to take care of their own security needs in a cost-effective and flexible way.

Aside from very practical changes to the pricing structure and the site, which will have an immediate and positive impact on Jabbakam users, we are also taking another look at how we see ourselves, our service and our product. It has been a very interesting development phase for us, but looking ahead, we see a host of new opportunities and think that now is the time to leave the nest and forge a new path in IP camera technology.

The security of your home, your office, your family and your belongings is a priority that Jabbakam takes very seriously. Over the past several months, we have focused on the idea that not only is Jabbakam a video surveillance solution designed to help keep the things and people important to you safe… but that Jabbakam is also a powerful tool that can help your feel freer and more in control of your video surveillance needs.

You can log on to Jabbakam from your computers or mobile devices anywhere in the world at anytime and watch, share and discuss relevant footage that your camera(s) have captured. We think that’s a big deal. Jabbakam has managed to harness IP camera motion detection technology and we are constantly on the lookout for new and powerful ways to put that technology to work.  As we expand our horizons and find new frontiers, we are continuing to work to open up new possibilities for Jabbakam and for you.
