Jabbakam Gets Smart – The New Jabbakam Mobile User Interface

In addition to the recent makeover of the Jabbakam website, Jabbakam Mobile Users are in for more good news:  We have created a fully-functional Jabbakam Mobile Site with a graphic user interface to integrate the features of smart phone technology more fully.  The old Jabbakam Mobile Site has now been reskinned and redesigned in keeping with the new site design, our product and our philosophy — to give you everything you need in IP camera technology and nothing you don’t. 

The new mobile site will have a persistent and consistent icon-based navigation system allowing access to more of Jabbakam’s Features. Other specific changes to the smart phone application allow for collapsing content to increase viewable area on smart phone screens.  The mobile site has also been optimized to allow for horizontal and vertical orientation and to increase ease of reading.  As a Jabbakam User you will be able to login to the site, view your alerts, manage your networks and share footage just like you can do on the main site.

Jabbakam is working hard to make it easier for you to see, manage and share your IP camera footage from wherever you are, whenever you want and on whatever ever device you choose.

A New Way of Seeing – A New Jabbakam Site Goes Live

After several months of plans, designs and redesigns, here at Jabbakam Headquarters—at 12:01 am June 6, in wee hours of the morning, we deployed the all new Jabbakam website!

Whew!

The new site boasts a new look and feel and a host of exciting new features, including:

• The new, easy-to-use Jabbakam Camera and Starter Kit now available on the site for £59.95,
• A streamlined, monthly pricing structure with 14-day, 45-day and 90-day pricing options,
• A new and more user-friendly mobile site, and
• An all new feature tour

In the Jabbakam User Application itself we have:

• Enabled camera monitoring on all cameras,
• Upgraded ‘live view’ for clearer and higher image quality, and
• Improved the Jabbakam Scheduling System to upload footage more efficiently.

We could go on and on about it, but we think the proof is in the pudding.

Introducing the All New Jabbakam Camera and Starter Kit

If you are a Jabbakam User, you have more than likely by now received the email sent out to all Jabbakam Users letting you know about the changes that we are making to Jabbakam’s pricing structure and how that is going to affect your account.  We anticipate a positive response and are looking forward to hearing your feedback on the new site and the new system, which will be up and running soon. If you received one of these emails, please get in touch with any questions or to take advantage of our offer in the email.

That being said, we have saved the best bit of news about what’s happening at Jabbakam for last. There is one important change at Jabbakam that we haven’t yet let on about here on the blog or anywhere else for that matter… and we figured that now is the right time to let to let the cat out of the bag — or in this case — let the camera out of the box.

Introducing the new Jabbakam Brand Camera… and Starter Kit.

This little Jabbakam Cam and Kit has everything you need in an IP camera and nothing you don’t. With easy-to-use features and design, it is lightweight, inexpensive and integrates seamlessly into the Jabbakam Interface — making Jabbakam the total package in online video surveillance.

Jabbakam is overhauling it’s pricing structure and adding the Jabbakam camera in an overall larger effort to streamline our system and make things easier for our users. From early June, when you sign up for the Jabbakam Service, you will have the option to buy the Jabbakam Camera along with a choice of three different monthly subscription-based service bundles.

With the purchase of a Jabbakam Camera you get to choose from three service bundles:

• 14-day recording storage* – £5.95 per month
• 45-day recording storage* – £9.95 per month
• 90-day recording storage* – £13.95 per month

*Recording storage – by this we mean time that video events will be kept in your inbox prior to auto-deletion. Any clips or snapshots that you want to save beyond this default period, simply save to a folder or download to your desktop.

Jabbakam will still be fully compatible with your Axis and Y-Cam IP cameras. The monthly subscription costs for Axis and Y-Cam customers will be £7.95, £11.95 and £15.95, respectively.
